 This oil is extracted from the pulp (not the kernel) of the fruit by cold pressing and filtration without the use of solvents. In contrast, the chemical extraction process damages the natural fatty acids and significantly reduces the nutritional value of the oil. A good quality oil should also contain a high proportion of natural waxes.
