 Properties:
 Expectorant, anti-catarrhal (relieves inflammation of the mucous membranes), mucolytic (thins phlegm), decongestant (reduces swelling and congestion), antiseptic, bactericidal, diuretic.
 Indication
 • Respiratory system: all diseases of the lower respiratory tract — bronchitis, rhinopharyngitis, cough, flu, emphysema.
 • Digestive system: diarrhea, intestinal parasites.
 • Head: headache, sinusitis.
 • Muscles and joints: rheumatoid arthritis, pain.
 • Skin: herpes, ulcers, burns; also acts as a mosquito repellent.
 Methods of application
 • In a diffuser: purifies and disinfects the air, especially during epidemics.
 • For respiratory tract: diluted in vegetable oil, apply with massage movements to the back (preferably the upper part), chest and feet. Helps to thin and expel bronchial mucus.
 • It also has antipyretic , stimulating and tonic effects.
 Synergies
 • With green myrtle and cypress - for bronchitis.
 • With fragrant inula - for pulmonary emphysema.
